Guide Writing

One of the most common reasons people use search engines like Google and Bing is to solve a problem. If your company happens to have a product or service that addresses a pain point, you can get a lot of clicks by writing a guide that proves that proposition.

Guides can come in a lot of forms. You can have a step-by-step guide that provides specific instructions for completing a task. For example, a plumber may want to create a post telling potential customers how to clean a drain and at what point they need to contact a professional. They can also explain how to use your product or service, providing value to both existing customers and people who might be interested in a purchase.

There are a wide range of other benefits to writing guides for your website or social media, including:

  • Showcasing the value of a product or service
  • Improving customer satisfaction
  • Establishing your company as an authority on a subject
  • Showing customers that you actually want to solve their problems, not just sell them things
